Daimler fears profit slump at Mercedes-Benz Cars due to low U.S. sales

German car-maker Daimler AG. fears its Mercedes-Benz Cars division could take a profit hit due to a slump in unit sales in the United States, Automobilwoche reported, citing company sources.

‘In particular the decline in unit sales of the S-Class model is worrying, above all in the United States,’ it quoted one sources as saying.
