Pininfarina CEO dies in accident

The Italian industry federation Confindustria says the head of the famed Italian design firm Pininfarina has died in a motorcycle accident.

A spokeswoman for the industry lobby said that 51-year-old Andrea Pininfarina died in Thursday morning in the northern city of Turin. She declined to have her name published in keeping with Confindustria’s policies.
